Associate Director of Client Services

Report to Director of Programs

Position Summary

Responsible for operation of direct client services programs. The major programs are: COBRA case management, Grant funded case management, food & nutrition program, support groups.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure overall compliance of contracts assigned to the client services programs. such as service deliverable level, quality, budget and reports.
  • Develop and execute plan to increase client base and services.
  • Recruit and hire program staff assigned.
  • Provide supervision to staff: Case Management Team Leader, Food & Nutrition.
  • Program Coordinator, Food and Nutrition Community Liaison.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
  • Maintain and update educational and promotional materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date policy and procedures for assigned programs.
  • Work closely with other programs and departments in the organization to ensure a high quality comprehensive continuum of services.
  • Submit both external and internal report on timely fashion.
  • Coordinate submission of continued funding applications for government contracts.
  • Work closely with the development office for competitive applications.
  • Represent the agency as appropriate.
  • Other activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in social work, human services, mental health or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to work with staff and clients from diverse background required.
  • Ability to use common office software required: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access. Familiarity with URS/AIRS preferred.
  • Experience in supervising paid staff required.
  • Three years of full-time work experience in a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity in managing government contract or COBRA case management is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in one or more Asian languages preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required.
  • Self motivated, outcome oriented, problem solver preferred.
  • Must be team player.
