Find out if you qualify for
Sliding Scale Fees

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, Apicha offers discounted medical and supportive services to patients who are uninsured or underinsured and have low income. The amount a patient pays is based on the federal poverty level, income, and number of dependents. Each year the federal government sets a Federal Poverty Line (FPL) and new income levels that qualify patients for discounted care. The income levels are based on a patient’s gross income (how much money you make each year before taxes are taken out). Request an appointment today and ask to find out if you may qualify for our sliding scale fee program.

Tuition. Books. Food. You need all three to get your degree.

Many previously ineligible low-income college students may now be able to apply for SNAP under new rules in New York State. Many career-and-technical education students in New York State may be newly eligible for SNAP. This adds much-needed relief to students who struggle to afford food while trying to keep up with their studies. SNAP may help you buy the food you need so you can focus on school.

The Nutrition Outreach and Education Program can help you learn if you may be eligible for SNAP. Services are available by phone, email or online, and are free and confidential.

We Offer Telemedicine

Not sure what a telemedicine visit can do for you?  Instead of traveling to Apicha, you can have a video appointment with your provider using your mobile phone, computer or tablet device that has a camera.  You and your provider will be able to see and talk with each other in real time, so that you can ask questions and have a conversation, the same way you would when you are here in our office.  Your provider will review your condition and guide you to your next steps like refilling your medication or advising you whether you should go out and have labs done, or postpone them to a later date.
